TRANSPARENCY IN THE ENTIRE SUPPLY CHAIN
A large number of slaughterhouses already use the MIS successfully. With the software solution developed by SLA, you secure the classification data from the calibration area together with the veterinary findings of all slaughter animals on an internal Meat Integrity Server. The availability of the data via the Internet ensures the necessary transparency: Suppliers, trading partners, classification services and control authorities can be given individual access rights to relevant data. This type of fulfillment of the meat law creates transparency throughout the entire supply chain up to the consumers.
THREEFOLD SECURITY CONCEPT
A web-based data availability like that of MIS, requires a comprehensive data protection. Again, the MIS is a role model: For the special security concept, the MIS has been certified according to the highest level of the TÜV-Informationstechnik GmbH (TÜViT). What makes the security concept so unique is its threefold data protection:
- All input devices receive a unique identity, which will be checked every time when data are exchanged
- Each dataset will be encrypted and sent over trusted paths - as in the online banking
- Each dataset receives additionally a digital signature through the storage on the MIS server
The software itself is also electronically signed and indicates an unauthorized change or unauthorized access immediately.
